The Continental Steamship Owners Mutual Protecting & Indemnity Association Ltd provides Hull and Machinery insurance which covers the insured’s economic interest in the ship, yacht or barge and its equipment.

We provide legal costs insurance through our Freight Demurrage and Defence (FD&D) cover. The disputes covered include those arising over freight, demurrage and detention and charter hire.

We provide two different Loss of Hire insurances:
Loss of Hire insurance for ship owners
Loss of Hire insurance for time charterers

We provide cover for physical damages to ships caused by war risks since ordinary H&M insurance and P&I insurance exclude such losses and damages. Our target is to provide the best possible insurance for the clients.
